Historic Rif Fort
Once housing 56 cannons inside its 1.5-meter-thick walls, Rif Fort was initially constructed in the 19th century to protect the island from invasion by pirates and enemies. Today, the fort has been redeveloped, with the resort breathing new life into this timeless attraction. In contrast with its glorious past, the Rif Fort offers a warm welcome to visitors and is now designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
